Workshop “Staying Alive” was finished on 7th Sept 2019

Staying Alive: A full day workshop on suicide prevention, assessment and interventions from multi-disciplinary perspectives for those who work in health, education and social service professions.

Programmes:
1. An introduction to risk assessment and interventions.
2. Suicide risk associated with alcohol and drug dependence: Recognition and management. 
3. From isolation to community.
4. Whakama to Mana 

Diversity Counselling New Zealand hosted very important workshop for people in the helping professions.

As a practitioner, we tend to think in our own realm, so it is so important for us to know how other professionals in different area work and think on the same topic. I believe that this workshop provided this aspect very well.
